Radar

Marine Radar is a core component onboard which is used by ships to detect other vessels and obstacles, providing bearing and distance to avoid potential collision and to navigate to their destination. Radar provides the Captain and crew with additional tools to navigate the vessel even in inclement weather conditions and impaired visibility. Radar equipment is available in S band or X brand technology and is typically combined with other instruments including chart plotters, sonar, marine radio, GPS or SART.
